Toward that objective, The Gravity Company offers turn-key construction services, including Concept Design, Design-Build, Bid-Build, General Contracting and Project Management for commercial, industrial and institutional markets.

Our company

The Gravity Company, LLC, (TGC) is a Texas-based General Contracting firm, providing a complete range of construction services, including Design-Build, General Contracting and Construction Management for a variety of real estate markets. Over the past three decades, our principals have developed office buildings, medical clinics, retail centers, restaurant/hospitality/entertainment concepts,  automotive facilities, schools/gymnasiums, religious facilities, multifamily communities, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and warehouse projects to name a few.

With any project, The Gravity Company has the capability to take on the planning, design and construction responsibilities from concept to completion. Through our collective knowledge, experience, and contacts within the industry, TGC is able to commit to a development timeline which is much more efficient than those offered by others in our field. In addition, creating concepts which encourage a more thoughtful and efficient use of resources allows our clients to experience long-term value through lower operational costs and financial risks. We continually work to discover measurable ways to realize savings from sustainable facilities and ongoing operations.

This combination of conceptual design and construction expertise provides our clients with an unparalleled resource in the industry. The integration with our network of key subcontractors creates an alliance geared toward innovation and efficiency that generates savings in terms time, money and other resources.

Michael Graves

Manager/Member

    A veteran in the construction industry, Michael Graves is nationally recognized design builder and serial entrepreneur. His experience in bringing innovative concepts to reality in the hospitality and retail automotive industries is legendary. Michael is known for his ability to deliver creative building solutions that meet predetermined timeline and budgetary requirements.


    Michael Graves holds Business Administration degrees from the University of Houston in Marketing and Economics. He has also completed several continuing education studies in the fields of design and marketing.  


    Having lived in several cities throughout the United States, Michael currently resides in Dallas, Texas.

John Brunetti

Regional Director of Construction - Mountain States

    John Brunetti has made his mark on the construction industry for more than 23 years as a Regional Director and Senior Project Manager.  He began his career in restaurant and school construction, executing projects throughout the Western United States. In 2015, John joined The Gravity Company in his current position.


    His expertise and leadership has been invaluable to Gravity with projects such as Kuni Lexus, Interstate Ford, and Audi of Broomfield. John works tirelessly overseeing all phases of multimillion dollar construction projects to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Rex Shields

Director of Construction - Western States

    Rex Shields brings more than 30+ years of experience in real estate development, design, restaurant and commercial construction, and facilities management. He has direct oversight experience with companies and projects located throughout the United States. Rex excels at creating and coordinating high-performing teams and resources as required to advance projects from concept to completion. His hands-on experience and broad knowledge allow projects to realize operational efficiencies, exceed budgeted objectives and meet project timelines on a consistent basis.  His career experience from both the corporate perspective as Director and VP of Construction at various national chains to his general contracting and facilities experience, provide invaluable insight and focus on all aspects of construction development.
